As an adoptee from Bulgaria and raised in America, I am intrigued to further my understanding of the historical cultural elements of Bulgarian design. During my research and exploration, I discovered vintage lottery tickets that were decommisioned when communism fell. The intricate and unique designs were modern, edgy and appealing. This series is inspired by the designs of Stefan Kanchev.
